After an email dropped in my inbox that The Body Shop were holding a special Jubilee loyalty card holders event I headed to my local store as soon as possible. Although my store had run out of champagne as it was nearing 3.30PM, I managed to get a few free chocolates instead!
After my post about whats in my shower, I have decided I really can't stand the smell of the sweet lemon soap I have - it just doesn't work with any of my lotions or perfumes - so I decided to take advantage of the 2 for £6 offer and get two in my favourite scent to use until I go for university. They're really creamy and a little goes a long way when lathered up, and they smell beautiful, working so well with my Body Shop coconut scrub.
After having saved £2 on my shower gels and £3.50 on my cleansers, I was quite impressed, but because I'm a loyalty card holder (loyalty cards cost £5 but I got it for free with particular purchases a while back) and because there was the Royal Wedding beauty event on, I saved an extra 20%! This brought my total down from £22 to £13.20, a fantastic saving - which I've pictured just so you can see it with your own eyes! The offers didn't just stop there, I also received one stamp closer to receiving a free £5 gift (if you look closely on my card you can see I get it on my next stamp!!) and a £10 voucher for my next shop - great!
Did anyone else go to the event and be pampered or make any lovely purchases? If you did I hope you had a lovely time, I know that I did - it's always a pleasant visit when shopping with the Body Shop!
