'Create a peaceful haven before bedtime with this calming double act.'

When it comes to sleeping my routine is sporadic, my schedule varies every day and it's different every week so getting into a regular bed time routine is a thing of the past! When I do finally get to hit the sheets it can be really hard to 'switch off', I find myself falling asleep well over an hour after I go to bed.
This sporadic night time routine doesn't fit into my early mornings and leaves me feeling tired throughout the day; having tried all other options and failing to see an improvement I've turned to good old beauty remedies to sort me out.

This Works are well known for their natural skin and body care products as well as a whole range of products that help to tackle sleep troubles. Products range from pillow mists to candles to bath soaks and more but my first pick of the range was the Deep Sleep Pillow Talk Duo, a double act of the popular 75ml Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and a 5ml sample of Deep Sleep Stress Less ointment. This Works' Deep Sleep range uses aromatherapy to help you get a better nights sleep and drift off quicker with its special blend of 100% natural essential oils with soft, carefully selected fragrances.

DEEP SLEEP PILLOW SPRAY
Spritz this fine mist over your pillow about half an hour before you get into bed to release a beautiful blend of lavender and other essential oils when you lay your head down. The scent fills the room with a soft and subtle relaxing scent, it isn't overpowering in the slightest. Breathing in the scent from your pillow is completely safe and once again really relaxing, I find it really settles me and calms my senses.

DEEP SLEEP STRESS LESS
Stress Less is a rollerball style ointment that you apply to your wrists or a tissue and inhale as you sleep; as I sleep with my hands close to my face or tucked under my pillow I apply it to my wrists for maximum contact. Stress Less has a lovely blend of Eucalyptus, Frankincense and Lavender that transcend into the most relaxing, stress relieving scent. In fact, I find myself applying this to my wrists when I'm feeling a little stressed or worried too.

Since using the duo together every night for the past month I've noticed I'm falling asleep quicker and having a better nights sleep in general. I use both products together, spritzing the Pillow Spray on my pillow half hour before I hop in and applying Stress Less to my wrists once I'm in bed. You don't have to have both products but I find they work together really well.
I'm really impressed with how much the Deep Sleep Duo has improved my sleeping habits, admittedly it's not totally eradicated all problems I had but they've certainly helped me to wind down and drift off faster than ever before. Whether it's down to the products or a psychological belief that they work I don't know, but I do know I'll be trying out more products from the range. Yup, this works, This Works.

Deep Sleep Pillow Talk retails for £20 from the This Works website and This Works stockists.

    1. They do, don't they! I'm sure there's a few cheaper alternatives on the high street, there's one by AVON which I might try next.

    1. I wasn't sure before I ordered whether to try it or not, I read mixed reviews so thought I'd just give it a go...so glad it's worked, I'm very pleased.

  5. Wow I'm surprised this actually works for you! I'm stuck in this really bad habit right now sleeping at past 3am since I shower ridiculously late and don't blow dry my hair... I need to fix this :(

    1. Like I say, I can't say whether its the product working or a psychological will-power but the duo is a welcome addition to my evening routine. I know how you feel, I stay up quite late to write assignments, I work better at night, and can't switch off after so end up sleeping around the same time as you!
Why don't your invest in a hair turban, I've featured one in a previous Soap & Glory post, they help dry your hair quicker and mine really does cut the drying time down by a lot.

    1. If they came in gallon size I think we'd all snap them up. Don't worry though, they've lasted me ages because you only need to use a little bit once a day.
